Dog Boarding in San Francisco

Dog Boarding in San Francisco
The reason boarding goes wrong is that everything is new at once — new building, new smells, new people, and you're gone. That is a lot to ask of a dog on the same night.
Our boarders are almost always our daycare dogs. They know the floor, they know the team, they know the other dogs sleeping next to them. The trip is a longer version of a day they already like. Availability is limited, and boarding dates go early around the holidays — call before you book the flight, not after.
What's included
- Same building, same team, same friends they see at daycare
- Beds, dog houses and cushion chairs — no cages
- Days run like normal daycare: park trip, walks, play
- Photo updates while you're away
- Insured, with a real human who answers the phone
- Space is limited — holiday dates fill first

You don't have to take our word for any of this.
“100% 5-star service. Watson and his entire team are professionals, far exceeding my expectations for dog care. They send a flurry of daily photos of your dog at the park. Tefani & So Dogcare is a safe choice for a positive and stress-free experience, give them a try and you won't be disappointed.”
“Once, Evie got an eye infection during boarding while I was traveling abroad, and Ricardo was so considerate and thoughtful. He took her to the vet, FaceTimed me from the clinic, answered all of my questions about her healing. They are very knowledgeable, with a low staff-to-dog ratio.”
“Kiko also loves the daily dog park trips. One of the best things for me is the shuttle service. Kiko gets picked up in the morning then dropped off in the afternoon, which really makes the entire process of sending her to daycare really effortless for me, especially if I need to work late at the office unexpectedly. They treat your dog like family.”
Questions
About dog boarding
Can you board a dog who has never been to daycare?
Call us and we'll talk it through. Boarding goes best when your dog already knows the building, the team and the other dogs — so we'll usually want to meet them and get a daycare day or two in first. Holiday dates fill early, so reach out before you book the flight.
Will my dog be put in a crate or kennel?
No. Our dogs roam an open floor all day, across three areas separated by size and energy level. There are beds, dog houses and cushion chairs to nap in whenever they want. The only time a dog is crated is if you specifically ask us to.
What vaccines does my dog need?
Rabies and DHLPP are required for every dog. Bordetella is not required but we strongly recommend it, since it helps prevent canine cough in group settings.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry business insurance covering incidents that occur under our watch.
Come see the floor before you commit to anything.
Bring your dog. Walk the space. Watch the pack play. Then decide.
